Remedy For The Soul (Read Proverbs 4:14-27)

The soul can be defined as our mind, will, and emotions, and it's your job to nurture and guard your soul at all costs. When the soul is corrupted, you become evil, and evil people are spiritually sick. They suffer from a soul sickness that only the Great Physician can heal. The "Best News Ever" is that God will heal your soul if you honestly seek Him and accept his invitation of redemption, restoration, and salvation.

The remedy for your soul sickness is found in God and God alone. Putting on the whole armor of God every day is a great start to healing and transformation. Attentive hearing, understanding, and application of Scripture are true tell-signs that grace is at work in the heart and that the heart transplant is working. The heart of the problem is a problem with the heart. A personal relationship with God is the remedy for the soul.

²⁰ My child, pay attention to what I say.
    Listen carefully to my words.
²¹ Don't lose sight of them.
    Let them penetrate deep into your heart,
²² for they bring life to those who find them,
    and healing to their whole body.

²³ Guard your heart above all else,
    for it determines the course of your life.

 Jesus confirms this truth in the most excellent preached sermon, the "Sermon on the Mount." When he teaches this: "⁴⁵ A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart." (Luke 6:45).

What is the condition of your soul? It's never too late to accept God's invitation for a heart transplant. The Great Physician is ready to redeem and restore your soul for eternity. Are you ready? It's time for surgery; when you wake up, you will experience salvation on earth and as it is in Heaven.
