Day Two

Trusted Servant Status Requires Much Wisdom (Read Proverbs 1:20-33)

Generating the humility, open-mindedness, and willingness necessary to live a Jesus-centered life requires the pursuit of wisdom. Over time, you'll discover much wisdom comes from spiritually mature women. It's hard to argue that anything in the world is more beautiful, wiser, and authentic than a woman who has walked with God for a long time.

God has granted every person certain gifts and abilities, along with wisdom. They were given to each of us for a reason: to help advance the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven. Humans are entrusted with the stewardship of all of creation. God calls on us to pursue wisdom with all the earnestness we can muster to fulfill our responsibilities as trusted servants.

Human selfishness continues to be a significant problem in this world. What will come of God's creation if we fail to mature and wisely meet our responsibilities as trusted servants?

31 Therefore, they must eat the bitter fruit of living their own way, choking on their own schemes. 32 For simpletons turn away from me—to death. Fools are destroyed by their own complacency. 33 But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm."

As a trusted servant, you are encouraged to approach your duties wisely, contribute to the advancement of the Kingdom, and live in peace. What will you do today to make a difference in God's Kingdom and experience peace on earth?
