Love Everyone, Including The Unlovable

Hello Transformers,

Today, we resume our new message series, "The Way: The Book of Mark." Our message today focuses on Mark 1:40-45; 2:1-17. Last week, we introduced John the Baptist and unpacked the early themes of the Gospel. We look at the purpose of John the Baptist and how the message of Jesus shifted when John the Baptist was incarcerated.

The Gospel of the Kingdom is introduced, and Jesus' radical message is fully displayed. His willingness and compassion to heal lepers was mind-blowing to everyone. He demonstrated what it looks like to love the unlovable. He then heals a lame person lowered through a ceiling on a mat, befriends a tax collector, Matthew-Levi, and invites him to join him and the disciples in their revolution of fishing for people.
