John is a retired, disabled veteran who gave his life to Christ in 1982. He spent more than 35 years working as a Master Certified Auto Mechanic before retiring and launching his own welding and fabrication business, specializing in boats and custom lighting.
With a heart for discipleship and service, John has mentored ex-offenders by teaching them welding and fabrication skills through a hands-on ministry. He has also participated in numerous mission trips, both in the United States and abroad, sharing the love of Christ through practical service and teamwork.
John has served on worship teams for over 15 years as a bass player and also helps run sound. He previously served as head of the trustees and now leads our leadership board with humility, wisdom, and a servant's heart.
John and Chrissy have been married for 37 years and are blessed with four children, six grandchildren, and two golden retrievers—Louie and Levi.
