Mary became part of the United Methodist Church family in 2001, responding to the gentle prompting of the Holy Spirit in her walk with God. Shortly after joining, her church's membership coordinator invited her to help in the elementary Sunday School. She said "yes," simply wanting to serve where she was needed — and that yes became a defining moment. In that classroom, Mary discovered her deep passion for helping children encounter the love of Jesus, and she has remained devoted to children's ministry ever since.
With forty years of leadership experience in the business world, Mary brings a rich background in developing people, building teams, and nurturing healthy systems. She now feels blessed to merge that experience with her heart for children as Transformation Church steps into a new chapter in Eureka. Mary is energized by opportunities to create safe, joyful spaces where children can grow in faith — and to support the volunteers who pour love and wisdom into their lives.
Mary lives in Creve Coeur with her husband, Ted, and their three beloved dogs: Cavalier puppies Rip and Roy, and their senior Chihuahua, Buddy. Together, they are the proud parents of their adult son, Joe, who shares their passion for serving others.
